Empty Arms Bereavement

"We remain deeply grateful to the Empty Arms community as we’ve learned (and continue to learn) how to integrate our losses into our identities and every aspect of our lives."

Our Impact:

In the last year, we've served families whose pregnancies ended at 5 weeks, 14 weeks, 26 weeks, 34 weeks, and 41 weeks, whose babies have died at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months old.

We've companioned families in delivery suites and recovery rooms. We've supported families whose loss was impending, as well as those still healing from grief decades old.

These photos, taken by local photographers, honor and memorialize the tragically brief time between parents and their babies. Each photo takes our breath away, honoring the sacred moments between parent and child, or between two siblings.

With your support, we connect families, share stories, and honor the beautiful babies that touched our lives.

From our families to yours, thank you.

"Carol McMurrich and Empty Arms have been integral in our grief journey and process. We have attended countless group sessions, got involved in the community, and made many friends in the process."
